Your privacy matters deeply to us. INKR exists to connect artists and clients in a safe, trustworthy space. We only collect what's necessary to make that happen, and we'll never sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, why we need it, and how we protect it.
What We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your email, name, and profile picture (if you choose to add one). This is managed through Clerk, our authentication provider.
Artist Portfolio Data
Artists who create portfolios provide images, bio information, style preferences, and location details. This data is publicly visible to help clients find the right artist.
Booking Information
When bookings are made, we collect details like design requests, scheduling preferences, and communication between artists and clients. This stays private between the parties involved.
Payment Data
Payment information is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card details. We only receive confirmation that payments succeeded or failed.
How We Use Your Data

Who We Share Data With
We work with trusted third-party services to make INKR function. Here's who has access to your data:

We do not sell your data. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Your data is yours.
Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)
You have full control over your data. Here's what you can do:
Access Your Data
Request a complete copy of all data we have about you. We'll provide it in a readable format within 30 days.
Delete Your Data
You can delete your account and all associated data anytime from your settings. Portfolio images will be removed within 24 hours.
Correct Inaccurate Data
Update your profile information anytime through your account settings. If something is wrong and you can't fix it, contact support.
Opt Out of Communications
You'll receive important booking and payment emails, but you can opt out of marketing communications anytime through email preferences.
Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don't use tracking pixels or sell data to advertisers. No creepy stuff.
How We Protect Your Data
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices, regular security audits, and trusted cloud infrastructure. While no system is 100% secure, we take security seriously and act quickly if issues arise.
